FREE Teddy Bears’ Picnic installation and events at The Rock this Easter
Families from Bury and beyond are invited to join the fun at The Rock Shopping and Leisure Centre this Easter as the centre launches its FREE Teddy Bears’ Picnic themed playground.
Running until 19th April, the immersive installation will be open every day throughout the Easter holidays in the space in front of The Range and is free for everyone to enjoy.
Visitors are encouraged to take photos and share their moments on social media by tagging @therockbury.
As part of the Easter celebrations, The Rock will also host a series of FREE Teddy Bears’ Picnic activity sessions, filled with storytelling and teddy‑bear‑themed crafts, perfect for keeping little ones entertained during the school break.
Session dates:
- Wednesday 8th April
- Wednesday 15th April
Sessions run from 11am to 3pm, beginning every 30 minutes, with each session lasting approximately 20 minutes. The final session will start at 2:30pm.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, each session is capped at 16 children and will operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
The Rock Centre Manager, Laura Beal, said: “We’re really excited to bring the Teddy Bears’ Picnic to The Rock this Easter. It’s a lovely opportunity for families to spend time together, enjoy some free activities, and create special memories. We can’t wait to see children exploring the playground and getting involved in the crafts and storytelling sessions.”
