Visit our FREE Santa’s Grotto this Christmas
At The Rock we believe that EVERYONE should be able to visit Santa, and that’s why our grotto is completely FREE.
This Christmas we will unveil a BRAND NEW grotto at the centre, our first one since 2019.
It’s been almost five years since we last hosted a grotto at the centre and we’re so excited to finally be able to bring this activity back, we know it has been missed.

Please note Santa will take a break daily at 1pm for 30 mins. There will be no admission to the grotto during this time.
To ensure we give all visitors a memorable experience, if we are extremely busy the queue will be closed at approximately 2.50pm to enable Santa to see those waiting.
There is no need to book, but there may be a queue on occasion. As we’re outside please dress for the weather!

For our Quiet Hour sessions the following measures are in place to make the Grotto more accessible to those with additional sensory needs
- Relaxed performances, Elves will calm their Christmas joy just a little and Father Christmas will use his indoor voice only
- Any lighting will be set to static
- Families can enjoy the grotto at a more leisurely pace
- Parents/carers can speak to our ‘door Elf’ and let them know if there are any other ways we can make the experience enjoyable, Elves will try their hardest to achieve this.
