Bury BID Comic Con is returning on Sunday 28 June 2026, and The Rock is right at the heart of the action with two unmissable themed zones – the Movie Zone and the Sci‑Fi Zone.

Whether you’re a film fan, a sci‑fi superfan or just looking for a fun family day out, both zones will be packed with iconic vehicles, walkabout characters and photo opportunities throughout the day.

🎥 Movie Zone – St John’s Square

Step into the world of blockbuster films and get up close to some of the most recognisable vehicles from the big screen.

Cars you can expect to see:

• The Batmobile
• The Harry Potter Flying Car
• The Toy Story Pizza Planet Van

Alongside the vehicles, there’ll be walkabout characters and interactive moments, making it the perfect stop for selfies and family photos.

🚀 Sci‑Fi Zone – Outside Bob & Bert’s / Racconto Lounge

Prepare to enter another universe as The Rock transforms into a Sci‑Fi Zone filled with legendary characters and futuristic vehicles.

Vehicles and highlights include:

• The iconic DeLorean from Back to the Future
• Transformers vehicles, including Bumblebee and the NEST truck

You’ll also encounter walkabout characters throughout the day, including favourites from Star Wars such as Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Chewbacca and The Mandalorian, creating plenty of opportunities to meet, greet and snap a photo.
