This May half term, join us at The Rock for a fun, free and interactive adventure starring our much‑loved centre mascot, Rocky the Rhino.
From 23rd – 31st May, Rocky will be popping up around the centre in a playful window trail designed to celebrate everything The Rock has to offer – while giving little explorers plenty to discover along the way.
Meet Rocky Around the Centre
Rocky will appear in a series of shop windows across The Rock, each one showing him enjoying a different everyday activity. From brushing his teeth and trying on new shoes, to sitting back and enjoying a movie at the cinema, each display offers something new to discover.
The trail is perfect for families, encouraging children to explore the centre while spotting Rocky doing his different activities. It’s a great way to turn a shopping trip into a mini adventure.
On Saturday 23rd and Wednesday 27th May, our friendly team will be on hand giving clues as to where Rocky is hiding and Rocky the Rhino himself will be making an appearance.
How to Take Part
Getting involved is easy:
On live event days, our friendly team will hand out entry forms to shoppers around the centre.
On non‑live days, entry forms can be picked up from selected stores.
Once you find Rocky the Rhino in a window, fill in the entry form.
Post it into the Rocky post box in the square outside The Range to be entered into our prize draw.

We’re pleased to be welcoming a new Men’s Coffee and Chat Group to the centre, taking place at Racconto Lounge, one of our on‑site restaurants. Starting Monday 11th May, the group will run every Monday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, offering a relaxed and welcoming space for men to connect.
The group is all about helping men feel less alone. There’s no agenda, no pressure to open up, and no expectation to talk if you don’t want to. Instead, it’s simply a chance to enjoy a coffee, share a bit of conversation, and spend time in good company in a comfortable, informal setting.
